What is PayPal?

Is it safe to shop online using PayPal?
Absolutely. It's the main reason that we chose PayPal to handle the shopping cart functionality for Willow's Lantern. All personal and financial information is protected by PayPal. For more information about PayPal's Privacy, Prevention, and Protection plans, please visit the PayPal website.

Does PayPal share my personal or financial information?
The only personal information that we receive from PayPal is the minimum necessary in order to fulfill your order (specifically your name, e-mail, address, and products ordered).

We do NOT receive ANY financial information related to your order from PayPal. All personal and financial information is protected by PayPal. For more information about PayPal's Privacy, Prevention, and Protection plans, please visit the PayPal website.

Does Willow's Lantern share my personal or financial information?
Absolutely not! The only personal information that we receive is the minimum necessary in order to fulfill your order (name, e-mail, address, and products ordered). And we do NOT use that information for any other purpose.

While we DO maintain a subscription-based mail list to advise members of specials and other information about Willow's Lantern, inclusion on our mailing list is entirely voluntary - placing an order on Willow's Lantern will NOT place you on our mailing list. What are the charges for shipping and handling?
Willow's Lantern ships all packages via Canada Post Xpresspost™. Shipping and handling charges are based on the size and weight of the items and the size of the packaging required. Some example are:

  • $3.50 shipping charge for Fairy Doors
  • $5.00 shipping charge for Beeswax Candles (they're bulky and brittle so we take extra care!)
  • $5.00 shipping charge for Linen Sprays
  • $10.00 shipping charge for Bath Salts (they're heavy!)

I didn't receive a confirmation e-mail for my order. Why not?
Many mail service providers (Sympatico, Rogers, Hotmail, MSN, Yahoo!, AOL, etc.) have filters that may identify the PayPal confirmation emails as spam. We have no control over this issue and cannot fix it from our end. Personal spam protection software running on your PC may also be the culprit - check your junk mail folder just in case.

Contact us if you did not receive a confirmation email and we'll happily supply you with your order's tracking number.

How long will it take for my package to arrive?
Willow's Lantern ships all packages via Canada Post Xpresspost™. Xpresspost delivers the next business day locally and regionally, and 2 business days nationally between most major Canadian centres. Deliveries to the U.S.A. generally arrive within 3 to 5 business days.

I didn't receive my package. What do I do?
Contact us if you suspect that your order has been lost or delayed and we will track it down. We can also provide you with your order's tracking number for you to check the status with Canada Post.

Can I cancel my order?
Contact us immediately if you want to cancel an order. Please include your PayPal transaction ID to assist with the cancellation process. Although we will do our best to cancel your order at once, our ability to do so depends on when the order was placed and when you contact us to cancel it. We therefore cannot guarantee that we will cancel your order before it ships.

Can I return my order?
We happily accept returns of UNUSED AND UNOPENED products if we receive your product return within 30 days of the PURCHASE date. All items must be returned UNUSED AND UNOPENED in their original packaging and with a copy of their PayPal sales receipt. We regret that we do not refund original shipping costs with the return.
